A Note to Our Community
We want to take a moment to acknowledge what is happening around the country right now. Some of you may have noticed that we’ve been quiet this week. We have been taking time to continue to educate ourselves around racial injustice in this country while allowing space for Black voices to be heard.
We recognize that there is a long way to go in creating an anti-racist country and self education is part of the process. We also recognize that actions need to follow words. We will be donating 15% of our sales this Sunday, June 7, to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Feeding our community is our mission, and on Sunday we hope to feed you and your families, and through that process, give financial support to criminal justice reform, economic justice, educational equity and voting rights.
We are still learning how to be allies and recognize that this is one step out of many. We acknowledge that we will make mistakes along the way and we will learn from them.
